Design Service
Karisma Design offers an accomplished design service for all our clients both private and commercial.
We believe in the importance that each and every bathroom must be designed to suit a client’s very personal requirements. Attention to detail is paramount - as is the balance between the aesthetic and practical considerations.
Whilst many showrooms charge for their design services, we do not.
We believe it is an essential and fundamental part of the process of buying a bathroom and are therefore always pleased to undertake to design the client’s space whenever required.
Process
Site Visit
Following an initial conversation to understand the nature of the project and what the client is looking to achieve, where possible a visit to site is arranged so that we can measure up and conduct a full survey. It is also important to get a feel for the space.
Where a visit cannot be undertaken for example in the case of new-build projects, we can work from architect’s drawings and specifications.
Designs and Specification
After the site survey has been conducted or architect’s drawings provided, we will undertake the design and specification process.
Rather than using CAD, we prefer to produce drawings by hand as it allows for a much more personal input into the design. Plus with many bespoke elements to our rooms and working with our partner suppliers it allows for the adage and approach that “if it can be drawn - it can be made”.
Alongside those drawings we will produce a specification of product elements tailored to both the design and taking into account the client’s requirements from our discussions. Those products are selected from our curated ranges of to ensure we achieve the fine balance between aesthetics, practicality and budget.
Presentation
Finally, we will arrange a presentation of our proposals.
We are of course very happy to welcome you into our showroom in the centre of Wilmslow to show you the design ideas, finishes and materials that have been included in the specification.
However sometimes we recognise that this is not always the most convenient option for clients.
Alternatively in those instances we can arrange to visit clients in their home and bring with us presentation material such as is practical - perhaps then to be followed up with a meeting within the showroom to discuss the finer detail and selections.
National and International Clients
Additionally, we are happy to work with clients who are not local to our showroom in Cheshire.
We are accomplished at undertaking projects both around the UK and also overseas - all made much easier now with virtual meeting options.
